Sainsbury's Groceries & Meal Plan 3rd Nov

So as it happened we never did get to have a Morrisons shop, but we ended up at a retail park which gave us the choice between Sainsbury's or ASDA.
Sainsbury's had 25% all clothing too, so as well as getting Lily a sweet fleece jacket, I also found some leather chelsea boots. I have tried on many a pair but had not found a pair which fitted well and felt comfy until I came across the pair in Sainsbury's. Turns out that my sister may have the same pair but in black, that's sisters for you!

Here is the vlog showing you what we ate from the week before:

And here is the meal plan for this week:

Today is our wedding anniversary and since we don't have a babysitter, Rob is going to cook us steaks and I'm really looking forward to it plus a glass of wine.
On Wednesday I will make some more chicken goujons. The rice breadcrumbs I bought last week from Ocado are really good and extra crispy and after our first beef goulash we are going to have it for a second week! If we could we would have it with some sour cream, but I don't think the dairy free market has made any yet.
Salmon en croute has been on our previous meal plans for a while now, but never seem to get made, so this week we will enjoy a quick stir-fry and perhaps reserve the salmon en croute for when I have a little more time for pastry making.
Hopefully mini Toad in the Hole will work on Saturday; our oven can be quite tempermental with the highest temperatures which are required for good yorkshire pudding. It could end up being sausages in a thick pancake!
Sunday's meal; we'll decide what we fancy there and then. We will be at a party during the day, so Lily and Alexander could be stuffed enough for us to decide to have a lazy meal or even a takeaway.
On Monday I will make a curry in the slowcooker. I haven't used a Sainsbury's curry cooking sauce before, I will see how it goes.

As for a sweet treat...last week I made a toffee apple crumble but I have yet to decide this week. It may be some kind of party food. I will have to get brainstorming.

Have a good week everyone, what are you planning on eating this week?
