Meal Plan for the Week | #mealplanningmonday

The last week has been a busy one, we had Lily's fourth birthday on Monday and family round to stay at the weekend, so the meal plan kind of became a bit more spontaneous. We are also away this coming weekend, but likely to make something which Rob can eat to take with us.

Cheese, milano salami and basil topped pizza
I made this last Tuesday when we had friends over, but I made the dough using regular plain flour and durum semolina, which I can't use for Rob, so back to spelt flour. I would throw some Spanish olives on it but sadly Rob doesn't appreciate them. More for me!

Authentic Spanish green olives
Authentic Spanish olives (or "O- Evils" as Rob likes to call them!)

Rob will be out so Lily chose chicken kievs for tea. I'm not sure what I will serve them with yet. We had a roast dinner on Sunday, so we have extra potatoes in which could be handy.

Last week we didn't have the lamb tagine served with quinoa, I took the lamb shanks I had out of the freezer and they were slow-cooked for a roast dinner on Sunday, so we may as well enjoy this moroccan dish today. We have been loving lamb.

Teriyaki chicken, stir-fried vegetables with brown rice and quinoa.

Korean beef bowl, stir-fried vegetables with rice.

Saturday and Sunday: we will be away and returning late on Sunday, so we may have a very quick meal, undecided at the moment.

If you haven't read my meal plan from last week, take a look here. I have noticed that since Lily's birthday more and more of our typical food has been enjoyed, but overall we are still really loving asian-inspired food and we feel better for eating it too.

I took part in the Meal Planning Monday Linky. Please take a look at other meal plans and get some inspiration :)

  1. Sounds good... Teriyaki chicken added to my inspiration list :-)

  2. The Korean beef sounds good, I'll have to google that one :)

  3. I haven't had chicken kiev for ages! will add that to one of my weeks meals.

  4. Chicken Kiev's are my favourite 'go to' meal. The kids love them. :)

Thanks for reading, please leave a comment. I would love to hear from you
