10 signs you know you are a blogger...

  1. The collection of missed delivery slips. Sometimes I just don't hear the door knocking, mostly due to the kids/washing machine din/ultra-soft tapping of the postman.
  2. Careful orientation of plates of food to get a decent shot
  3. Reluctance to share photos of food lovingly prepared by myself but served by Rob. Slop!
  4. I have a family life diary and a blog and vlog work diary to keep my plans, ideas and deadlines in
  5. My evenings look like this; clear up after the kids have caused chaos, cup of tea, chocolate, socially being anti-social on his and her's laptops (me: blogging and editing vlogs, him: gaming or working) before watching an episode or two of Vikings for example
  6. Hearing the following more than I like; "Not everything has to be photographed"
  7. Thinking ahead of holidays and attempting to devise a plan to publish seasonal arts and crafts and baking. But then failing as I'd have to eat everything at least twice; the blogging creation and the actual celebration creation.
  8. Any mail is greeted with honest excitement but unpackaging it takes forever if I need to take photographs and sometimes it is left for an undisturbed hour without interested kids
  9. Email tab is always open
  10. Husband is suspicious that my laptop is on all of the time. He's not entirely wrong, but he keeps shutting it down mid-vlog upload!
