Aura print business cards

I was lucky enough to receive my very own business cards printed by a super company called Aura Print. I am so excited to own my own cards which will be perfect for networking at blogger events such as this year's #BML16.

I had an idea of what I wanted on my very own business card but I mostly left it up to the good people at Aura Print who explained everything clearly so I felt that the design was in good hands.

What did I want on my business card? I wanted my brand logo on one side, along with my job titles as it were; blogger, vlogger, freelance writer and on the other side I wanted my contact details and social media tags. Resizing images can be tricky, but the brand logo image I managed to send it apparently worked perfectly and the hand-designed logo on the rear of the card works well despite the original having a watercolour background.

And what is the style of these luxury business cards? These are Impakt cards; a luxury card with a colour core or back. These double-sided cards are thick; 800gsm to be precise. They feel really sturdy and professional. They will withstand whatever your purse/wallet/bag will go through and I would be surprised if they managed to get creased or crumpled.

The business cards are from the Impakt core range; the thickness of the card is highlighted by having the care core dyed a different colour; here you can see that my cards core is a golden-yellow colour, which matches the links and social media icon colour of my blog. It is subtle but I do love the discreet flash of colour.

Handily, the printers used the same font of my self-designed brand logo and continued with it for my name, contact details and social media tags. The social media icons add a little bit more colour and interest to the cards, so I am pleased that everything didn't follow a golden-yellow theme.

I can't wait to show them off; my mum has eyed them up with interest. Perhaps she will decide to revamp her own business card design soon. And I know that if she chooses Aura Print she will get a high-quality service from start to finish.
