Living Arrows | Alexander and the chocolate

This is my first post for the Living Arrows linky run by What the Red Head Said. If you are new to it, like me, here is how Donna describes it:

"...Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday we share a moment from our week and invite others to do the same as part of this linky..."

So my first post features a single photo of Alexander who spent 90% of playgroup playing with the trampolines, cars, trains, and the slide (his favourite) before he noticed there was a crafts table decked with bowls of crushed shredded wheat mixed with melted chocolate, cupcake cases, spoons, chocolate mini-eggs and fluffy chicks. Once he did, he got stuck in and then he was joined by some other children who all enjoyed chipping away at the solid chocolate. He couldn't eat the eggs, but found fun in sucking them and replacing them and counting them into bowls. Sorry other kids!

  5. That looks like such a great craft table, but I think I would have the same idea as him - eating is definitely better than making! Thanks for linking up :) x
