I can barely comprehend that it is June already; mid-way through 2016. Time is flying by!
And to think that my brain has been stuck in January mode for a while and only just woke up in May and the main thing I thought was that I can remember when everyone was astounded that it was May already, last year!
As we cruise through June, I hope to enjoy a little bit more of warmer weather. It is raining right now. It is half-term after all. But as soon as we reach the 21st, the days will begin to shorten. I have always thought that the timing is pretty unfair, the summer hasn't even got going and school isn't out yet. I think to myself that once it is Rob's birthday the days will lengthen again, hooray!

I have a feeling that this month is yet another which will be over in a blink of an eye.
I'm attending my first ever Brit Mum's blogger conference in mid-June. I am really excited and no doubt my anticipation will only have me counting down the days. It will be a full on few days for us as a family in general in the lead up to BML#16; the kids are spending a few night's at their grandparent's in Kent which will allow me to pack an overnight bag and casually make my way to London with Claire from The Witt Family, enjoy an evening out in Camden and experience the full-on day of talks and networking on the Saturday. Once I get back Rob will have set off on a business trip to Portugal, so we will be like ships in the night.
Suddenly the second of July will be upon us; Alexander's second birthday, oh my goodness he is growing up really fast at the moment. I actually have no idea what to get him for his birthday. He has suddenly taken a liking to dumper trucks and other construction vehicles and really loves his books. I remember that Costco had a good selection of these kinds of toys last year, so perhaps I will pay Costco a visit soon for some ideas. We don't own a road/map mat yet and I am sure that could come in handy.
In the second week of July we are heading to Ivybridge for our holiday. I have never visited or stayed at Lukesland Gardens before, but the pictures look great and I am looking forward to that.
I hope you enjoy all your plans for this month, whatever you are up to.
