Living Arrows | Brotherly Love

Welcome back to Living Arrows, a post which celebrates childhood. I intend on creating as many of these weekly photos as possible because they are great to reflect on all together.

The project originally took its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran ~
"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth"

I captured this snap of brotherly love during the week. Alexander adores his little sister and smothers her in affection which she either loves or makes it clear that she's not feeling it. She has even developed a bit of a battlecry to make sure she is heard and involved. Particularly helpful when Alexander rolls and tips her around. She says "I can do that myself, thank you very much!".

  1. Haha sounds just like my S when L was a Baby! On the upside L is quite a brute now and can handle most things ox

  2. Ahhh, that face is perfect! I'm sure I'll be seeing lots of that with my two over the next year - my eldest is a big fan of 'cuddles'!

  3. Oh my gosh, look how much they love each other! That is too cute! x

  4. I love the look she's giving the camera haha! So lovely xx
