Living Arrows | Pick Your Own

Welcome back to Living Arrows, a post which celebrates childhood. I intend on creating as many of these weekly photos as possible because they are great to reflect on all together.

The project originally took its name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran ~
"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth"

Hi everyone, the countdown to the summer holidays are well and truly in motion now! Lily is getting exhausted but took the year 1 transition week in her stride. Weekends are full of parties, fun and laughter and yesterday we planned to go straight from a party directly to our local PYO farm.
It was Freyja's first ever visit and our first of the year; the last time we paid a visit was to select pumpkins for Halloween last year. I'm SO looking forward to getting a picture of all three kids in the pumpkin patch later in the year!
Savvy pickers collect the best strawberries first thing in the morning so we didn't get a good amount of strawberries. (I think we are the few we picked.) So we headed to the currant bushes instead and went wild with the blackcurrants. Lily and I accidentally tried an uniform berry, oh my goodness,YUCK! Lily proceeded to eat the strawberries which Alexander had proudly picked but wouldn't eat. Siblings! As you can see, he did eat an ice cream!
