My Nametags Review and Update

Before Lily started infant school last September we were given the opportunity to review My Nametags, which couldn't have come at a better time. Ballet kit, PE kit, shoes to pencils have been labelled with the Little Miss My Nametags, even show and tell items.

Lily has now completed her first year of school and I am in disbelief, quite honestly! To prepare her for progressing into Year 1 after the summer holidays My Nametags have kindly sent us some more stickers.

The stick on labels claim to last wash after wash when applied to the garment's laundry label. Just peel and stick, it really is as simple as that. No sewing on labels, no ironing on labels. It really is hassle free. They can also be applied to books, bags, pencils and microwaveable and dishwasher safe items such as lunchbox tupperware.

My Nametags update
Lily's summer uniform has been in use for several months and the quality of the My Nametag sticker is as good as when I peeled it off the original sheet.

I am pleased to say that the Year R My Nametags we used are still in situ on Lily's items and in perfect condition. I expected the My Nametags applied to the inner soles of her shoes would have some wear and tear, but they are still legible and haven't peeled off. I don't know how many times her school uniform and PE kit have been through rigorous washing and drying cycles, but they have not budged!

For the next academic year, Lily's My Nametags feature a water-lily design. The website makes designing the labels easy to do and there are a variety of font, colours, backgrounds and icons to make an easily-identifiable, personalised label.

For the price, starting at an RRP of £11.95 with £1.00 P&P, I think the My Nametag labels are worth it for the longevity and practicality. I'm not even sure how the labels can be removed but I will just apply the updated My Nametags label over the Reception Year label.

Lily's suncream My nametags
Sun cream has been required in the last half term so I am glad I can stick on a label so Lily can definitely identify her own possessions.

This time I haven't added any class details, so they are more versatile as Lily moves up year groups and attends extracurricular classes outside of the school.

I would absolutely recommend My Nametags to friends, they get a big thumbs up from Lily too!

Disclosure: I was sent these stickers for the purpose of this review, all opinions expressed are my own.
