Oatie Bars & OJ | Little Loves #8

This week seems to have gone super quick and my evenings are mostly filled with editing for my daily vlogs. I often get asked if I enjoy them and I do, but I don't want to neglect writing and blogging. Here is my reflection on the week and thanks to all of you who read and comment!

I am afraid I haven't picked up either books which I have been taking an actual age to read and I won't bore you again with the details, but I bought 'Glamour' magazine yesterday and despite it being mostly full of promotions and fashion campaigns it is full of International Women's Day stories which I enjoyed reading whilst Alexander took a nap. Complete with Haribo fizzy farm animals ;)

I am watching a lot of different TV programmes lately which has filled a gap since War and Peace ended. On Monday night I tuned into the 3rd episode of 'The People versus OJ Simpson' which I am loving. Whilst at university I studied the forensic evidence disaster which the programme will no doubt feature but it is more interesting learning about the main people involved in the case. John Travolta is a producer and features in it as does David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian. Why the Kardashian children featured I don't know - I expect it is because everyone has heard of them these days, rather than their late father.

I listened to some James Morrison my my MP3 player which I have had since sixth form, can't believe my Creative Zen is still going strong!

I made a tray of really simple blueberry oatie bars which are made of oats, butter, honey and peanut butter along with a punnet of blueberries. They barely lasted an evening as Rob kept helping himself to a slice every time he walked past it!

My bubble citron La La beads again. I have to be careful with Digby our puppy though, if I bend over he has a tendency to try and chew them himself!

And lastly

Mothering Sunday card fro Alexander

I thoroughly enjoyed Mothering Sunday with my parents, sister and in-laws. I made a pavlova and filled it with ice cream combined with passionfruit and mango coulis with extra drizzled on top. I couldn't prevent my Dad from eating it though which was naughty of him, being a diabetic.

I hope you all enjoy your weekend and next week ahead. Thank you for reading my Little Loves post :)
