Magazines and Netflix | Little Loves

So am I the only one who feels that this week has gone by in a flash? I'm sure it was only last Friday, yesterday? Freyja and I went by train all the way to my home town on the Kent/Sussex border and we had a lot of fun. Why do weekends go so quickly? And here we are, it is Friday again!

The sun has been shining here and I debated donning some sandals for the school run, but perhaps a pedicure first! Just in time for Storm Stella, no doubt.

Still going with the same book as last week (and the week before that!), but I have been enjoying reading home interior magazines, such as the Ideal Homes mag and the Your Home magazine. My head has been buzzing with inspiration though, I don't know where to start!

Whilst I was away last weekend, Rob subscribed to Netflix (I did drop some hints after reading Little Loves posts!), so we have been watching some random programmes together. I have watched the first episode of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and I'm feeling a little disillusioned about that programme now since the characters have changed so much. I have also started watching Greenleaf, as Morgana (coffeeworksleeprepeat) mentioned in in last week's Little Loves and I was pretty intrigued by the Memphis mega-church deception. That is what swung it really and now we finally can enjoy Netflix! Thanks Morgana :)

I'm cheating this week. My husband decided to not only make a beef bourguignon and apple pie for our return on Sunday evening, but he also made a raspberry meringue pie. We were too impatient to wait for it to cool completely to allow the raspberry curd to set, hence the oozing. But it was delicious and he will have to make it again very soon. It could be ideal for our Easter lunch pudding. I'm a lucky lady!

Lily has been really enjoying her ballet and dance classes on Thursdays after school and she skips home with me telling me what music they have all been dancing to. We usually play the music and dance around the house when we get home which is really fun, particularly if I can encourage the kids to use the same dance moves. I'm not a Dance Mom though! This week I've had to listen to One Direction and Lily loves them!

This blush pink long-sleeved blouse from Primark was perfect on Wednesday when we had brilliant weather. With a nursing top underneath it is ideal for breastfeeding and looks great worn loose or tucked into jeans.

I've also been 'wearing' my new hair do! Considering it was down to the middle of my back/almost waist-length, this is short for me. I love the feeling of freshly cut hair; the ends are soooo soft! I haven't had my first hair wash following the big chop, so I hope I can style it well myself.

And Lastly

On Sunday we are going to meet a super cute teeny tiny Shetland pony called Teddy. Take a look at his Instagram, he is a popular little dude. Lily can't wait to see him! ( I think she really thinks that he is a unicorn!). Happy St Paddy's Day to you :)
