What My Kid Wore #ALivelyStyle

Welcome to my kid's fashion post for #ALivelyStyle. I'm linking up with Hannah from Make Do and Push. Go check out the rest of the link ups for lots of fashion inspiration for your own kids. I certainly love seeing different outfits, the brighter the better!

This week I am sharing some snaps I took of the kids whilst blackberry picking. Armed with our plastic punnet from an actual PYO farm, we descended into the thorns of our nearby common. After soaking the berries in salted water to encourage any beasties out, we actually forgot about eating them! Normally they'd be straight in a jam or a crumble, but the baby has been teething lately so is as clingy as anything. Nevermind, we enjoyed the foraging.

Lily wore a t shirt from Primark adorned with dragonflies, paired with a toadstool Little Bird skirt and her standard tassel suede boots from Matalan. She definitely needs a new pair, she has loved wearing these ones.

It was pretty sunny, so of course Lily wore her pride and joy which is her H & M wide brim hat.

Alexander wore his Jackson Pollock style ink splash t shirt from Matalan plus shorts from F+F at Tesco. His trainers were a sale find from Mothercare and use velcro instead of laces so he can get them on and off himself (but he is usually too lazy!).

Aside from scratched ankles, we managed a good haul of berries. Alexander did not eat a single one (the filthy fruit and veg dodger!) but I supposed that reduced the potential staining on his t shirt which I love. I should have got the next size up!

  1. I honestly thought those short were Cath Kidston - they had such a similar pair this summer! I also love Lily's skirt - so pretty!

Thanks for linking up to #ALivelyStyle xx

  2. Gorgeous outfits! Love her boots too - I'd wear those!! #ALivelyStyle x
